  1. 1. A secondary migrant is a person who entered the United States as a refugee and was resettled in one state, but then chose to move to another state for some reason usually having to do with their family or living conditions.

  3. A secondary migrant is a refugee that came from one state and was settled there, but moved to a new state. These people aren't settled right away because they already had the chance to.

    -"newly arrived” for up to one year after their arrival

  13. Question 1. A secondary migrant is a person who gets to a certain place from their country and then moves to another place from there. Ex. A boy gets to Portland, Oregon from Africa, and from there he moves to Portland, Maine. He would be a secondary migrant.
